The week from hell

SmileyCentral.com

I slept yesterday from 4 when I got home till midnight then was up from then till 6 when I went to work.

Gas is down to 3.84.

Despite being very busy at work, I actually took a lunch today, a rare event, and went off campus a rare occasion. I've gone to this nearby Japanese restaurant before. I like their CA roll and asparagus and veggie tempura.
Usually I get there at 11:30 when they open, order eat fast and am back at school in 30 min max.
Today, for the first time ever, I went at 12:30 and it took an hour and i ate the salad and tempura there bringing home the CA roll and crab sushi and left over tempura for dinner. Well I learned the steam in the warm tempura turns it soggy. I knew that! You can't take it home but I ate the asparagus anyway. I like pot stickers not goza. I like the shape though they need more ginger or something.

So there I was this large woman and a man 6'7", 400 lbs., my estimate, walks out. You could have heard a pin drop. No one talked about it but you could feel the awe and awareness in the room. He was huge. There for the grace of God go I. It scared me. I can imagine how hard his life must be. I have trouble standing as does my friend Caro and back problems.

My friend Karen hates her diet but continues to drop the lbs. the old fashion way and its more than 60 lbs. now I think! Kudos! Take me along.

Soon my lunch will be at 11.

That's time for my breakfast. My aide leaves at 11:30.

I need to go food shopping. I went on Tuesday but was uninspired and bought next to nothing...cereal and milk, bread and a couple other things.

Tomorrow I hope to hit the Y to swim and the library and then grocery shopping and farmers market on Sunday. My neighbors peaches and apples are Ripe I may just help her pick some. Since her stroke lots doesn't get done.

I got in at 7:30 and left at 4. I could live there , there is so much to do. You'd find me shriveled up in a corner somewhere collapsed.

I misplaced my school keys today. They are on a lanyard somewhere in the library.

The kids come Tuesday, there is a workshop until 12 on Mon. and by then we need to have 980 books out x 3 for kids to come get. OW...my back.

Ill take a muscle relaxer and some hydrocodone before I out on a Lidoderm patch.

There is a great free concert in Golden Gate park this weekend and while San Jose was in the 80's but miserable in the unairconditioned library, the city is cool and at night is about 50 with a strong breeze. Very nippy.

It requires public transportation and a lot of walking. Since I can barely put my feet on the ground after today, I think I'll pass. I'm exhausted!
